BrightBlue360 Release Dashboard

Release Capacity

Estimated available team capacity versus remaining work for each release. Staffing levels and hours per day are configured on the Configuration tab.

Work Items Without MVP Tag
These work items do not have an MVP tag and are not assigned to any release. They need to be triaged and tagged in Azure DevOps.
Stories Missing Story Points
These stories do not have story points assigned in Azure DevOps and no task estimates. They use the configured Default Story Points value in progress calculations.
Open Features With No Open Stories
These features are not Closed but have no open (Active or New) stories. All their stories are already closed, yet the feature itself hasn't been marked complete.
Tasks Without Activity
These tasks do not have an Activity type assigned in Azure DevOps (e.g. Development, Testing, Documentation).
Tasks Missing Estimates
These active or new tasks are missing Original Estimate and/or Remaining Work. Excludes Closed and Removed tasks.
Stories Scheduled Past Release Target
These open stories have an iteration that ends after the release's target date, meaning they may not complete before the release.
MVP Transfers
Work items whose MVP tag changed from one release to another. Items flagged During Live moved after the source release had already started, which may indicate unplanned scope changes.
Recent MVP Tag Changes
Features and Stories whose MVP tag was added, switched, or removed in the last 7 days.
Configuration

Configure the team staffing levels and working hours used to calculate RAG status for each release. RAG is computed from remaining task hours versus available team capacity until the release target date. Manual RAG overrides in release settings take precedence.

Team Members

Add team members and assign each to an activity role. Toggle Capacity Allocated on or off to control whether a person is counted in release capacity calculations — useful when someone is associated with an activity but should not affect capacity.

Working Hours

Standard working hours per person per day.

Default Story Points

Applied when a story has no story points and no task estimates. Use "Calculate Backlog Average" to see the average across all stories with points assigned.

Story Points to Days Mapping

Used as a fallback to estimate hours when tasks do not have Remaining Work values set.

Configure per-release metadata and manual overrides. These settings persist across ADO syncs. Start Date, Target Date, and RAG override take precedence over computed values.
